The buzz is filling the air as this year’s largest event is nearing and without question, there are over a hundred drivers seriously checking, double checking and triple checking their equipment, their parts and their tools. Engines are on order and being run in, parts lists, battery checks and a long list of tasks to perform in preparation for the big week later this month.
Mr Ric Bartelozzi, the president of Moorebank International Raceway commented on this event being equal to that of a world class championship. His committee and volunteers are working tirelessly to organise the facilities, event schedules, public relations and without question, a plethra of untold tasks that only a passionate and committed person would undertake.
Solidarity has filled the air amongst the RC fraternity, a member of MCRCCC and well respected gentleman to many has told of his fight with cancer. Our community will gather and lift the moral of the friend to many. We know we can, at the very least, distract him and while the best drivers in Australia race the track, we can banter and jest to get his mind off his serious challenge.
Let’s lighten things up a little…Shall we!!!

Q. So why is it men and boys like to play with toys…??!!
A. So they can shout abuse at their fathers of course!!
I’m sure a father loves the sight of his son’s nostrils, he’s surely seen the innards of them, often while while wiping their bums clean of mango puree and getting a face full of unpredictable pee. Seems to me they’re a little hairier these days and there’s always the drive home where dad uses two fingers to remind them who’s who!!

Ok, so what’s Kurt hiding you ask… Is that the Jovanovic Ford GT in the background, why are their so many heads poking in the back, what are they doing looking into the depths of their ute!? I bet there’s something they’re not telling us. My guess is they are hiding a BIG BAG OF CHIPPIES! The food in the canteen was a on the healthy side to be honest. Looking down to the bottom right… is that..? that is..! a noisless TM/E4.. heretics!! Luke had a fews laps at the end of the meeting as well… It helps when you buy the president dinner!!:P

Yeah.. “so what…” you say… Well, lemme see you smiling like that with your inlaws out on holidays from NZ while the event is in full swing. Either he’s knows something we don’t, or, we know something he doesn’t…YET!!! I missed his engagement party and the wedding is scheduled or maybe rescheduled after the NATS. He’s always sharing RC love in the garages… And that’s the look of someone who knows where to find the uber salty, mega saturated, giga carbohydrated.. CHIPPIES of course!! Life’s so good with Jeffers!! A loaf of bread, $10 worth of chips, large coke and of course we go FIRST CLASS cuisine, we have both tomato and BBQ sauce! Now you know his race winning secrets… Ill have to kill you with the extra salt and double dipped potato scallops!

Ever wanted sponsorship, wanted it so bad that you just couldn’t help yourself from bending a result to favour your sponsors and tickle their fancy!!?
Ok..Ok.. So dad is the importer, and it does have car #1 label, and it says #1 on the stand, it’s a real ego tickler and prod to the home of the red army. It’s my all time favourite twist on a result. Chris Reade was devouring the circuit for the whole weekend, he was setting a benchmark that the whole field was chasing and with some bad luck in the final this image is a reflection of what could have been…
